Reconnect and re-wild in the Serra de Estrela natural park 

You are welcome to come here to unplug, heal, reconnect , rewind in the power of the mountains. The  Beautiful shala space  is available to rent or you can bring a tent and camp . This is an experience for people who want time to be away from all distractions. For many Kilometres  there are no other buildings or agrculture  all around, just  a massive untouched area of the Serra de Estrella full f mountain walks , granite boulders ,streams and water pools . You can come and stay  for a week or a month etc ,  depending on dates and schedule of other events .  

Stay in the shala...

Simple accommodation in the shala space , a 25 square metre open space with high ceiling, windows on every side for views of the forest and mountains. Stunning sunset views. The building is on 1 hectare of private land on a stunning terraced landscape 

 This is a very simple and minimal set up so you'd need to se if thats right for you. At the moment electricity is  limited  to a very small solar set up , enough free small lights and computer , phone charging / hand blender . Simple kitchen with gas cooker , water mine natural mountain water with filter in kitchen area .Huge wood burner with oven . The space is fully insulated and very warm in cold period. Separate shower house and compost toilet, with veery hot  gas shower fed from mountain natural water !  

Camping 

You can also bring your own to tent to camp and have access to the hot shower and toilet , but you'd need to arrange your own cooking, unless you came with friends and use a combo of the shala and camping .
